01 . Origins
The classroom was my first cinema.
Every time a teacher was absent, a small ritual began. Twenty pairs of eyes turned toward the same boy at the back of the room, waiting for him to make something out of nothing.
Bone-chilling tales, invented cliffhangers, characters who somehow had to come back the next day because a classmate remembered — and demanded. It was the innocent pressure of continuity, the first lesson in story as a promise.

07. Reinventing Tagore
It began as a Jadavpur dissertation — a young student trying to map the metaphor of the road inside Tagore's songs. It slept for twenty years while the world moved on and the world moved out.
Then his twenty-year-old daughter, home from London, said the sentence that changed the film: US Bengali Diaspora Specials
Tagore, seen again through today's borders, is unmistakably a global citizen — a poet who refused geography. The new adaptation, supported from Singapore, follows that road out of Bengal and back again.
